You’ll visit the imperial cities of Fez, Marrakesh, Meknes and Rabat for a taste of ancient history, and Casablanca for a splash of modern Morocco.
In Casablanca, you’ll visit the Hassan II Mosque- largest in Morocco! You’ll step back in time as you visit Rick’s Cafe, which was used as the backdrop in some classic movies. In Fes, you’ll participate in a Moroccan cooking class, visit a ceramics workshop/market, and visit a local tannery where you can get custom leather clothes & goods in record time!
You’ll take a camel ride up the sand dunes around Merzouga, to watch the sunset followed by a night in a traditional Berber tent in the desert. This is a luxury trip so your desert accommodations are equipped with full plumbing.
In Marrakech, you’ll get a feel of ancient history and modern Morocco while visiting souks (local markets), the Bahia Palace, and private tours of textile manufacturing to see how those famous Moroccan carpets are made. You’ll also get a chance to meet some special guests and get riveting, first-hand accounts of what life is like living & working in this alluring country.
