On the 200-Year Anniversary of the death of Henry Christophe, we bring you the Christophienne Tour: Remembrance of King Henry Christophe. This tour is dedicated to his life and his legacy and will bring you close to part of Haiti’s rich history. Starting in Cap Haitien you’ll visit Place d’Armes, where famed statues pay homage to Haiti’s liberators and discover where other liberators took refuge during the fight for independence. At the King’s Ball, you’ll travel back in time with a festive masquerade ball in Cap-Haïtien in honor of King Henry Christophe’s accomplishments and legacy while dancing the night away under the stars.
Next, you’ll embark on a day of adventure at the National History Park: hiking, horseback riding, and more. With adrenaline pumping, you’ll take a journey through history, as you view the largest artillery collection assembled in the Caribbean. You’ll also have the opportunity to spend the day enjoying one of the many beautiful beaches in the Labadie area, truly a day of fun in the sun- Haitian style. Sit back and relax as a taxi boat transports you to paradise, to soak in some of the bluest salt waters in the Caribbean while sipping on some of Haïti’s signature beverages. You’ll wrap up this exciting group trip by exploring the towns of Fort Liberté and Limonade, some of the oldest in the country.
